Starting new league

Just get a couple friends over for beer and a few games.  I started our league with 4 other guys, and this season my (adult) son has joined.

Keep it fun.  Simple play style (we do no stops on a rushing play, and just one stop on passing plays--to place the passing stick). 

Passing sticks are easier than learning to use the TTQB, and it lets the defense make a break on the ball.

Keep the games shorter--we use 8-play quarters.

We all put into a kitty for weekly prizes (randomly drawn categories), division winners, and league champion.
