3-4, 4-3, or Other?

For all my fellow defensive gurus (and OK, the offense-minded ones too), do you run a 4-3 or a 3-4?

I love building a 3-4 for Electric Football, because it allows for a lot of flexibility, especially with differing league rules and board sizes. That, and I get to build a roster that's pretty heavy with linebackers, so they can do all sorts of things.

Thoughts?

All of my LPFE teams run a 3-4, and when I finish my  new XFL teams they will too. I set the inside linebackers 5 yards back, and put a magnet under one. If the play turns out to be a run, I remove the magnet and he moves to stop the run. If the play turns out to be a pass, he drops back into coverage.

I have a 16 team solitaire league based on the NFL teams. All the teams have a base defense and an alternate defense.  Some teams use a base 4-3, with an alternate 3-4 defense and the others use a base 3-4 with an alternate 4-3.  Each team carries a roster of 54 players, not counting kickers and punters, so I have enough defensive lineman for the 4-3 and enough linebackers for the 3-4.
