LIEFL SUPER BOWL HISTORY

A star was born in LIEFL Super Bowl XI, one of our most memorable games, when Coach Kevin Mack's Oakland Raiders Dave Casper, LIEFL SUPER BOWL XI MVP, stole the show by opening the game with a 100-yard touchdown return, and another 100-yard touchdown to beat Coach Joey Pizz' New York Giants 27-21, in 22 seconds of OT! Casper would go on to finish the day with 349 all-purpose yards with two GIANT touchdowns in a LIEFL Super Bowl thriller! Casper has been superstar ever since hitting many milestones for an electric football Hall of Fame Player with 8,000 all-purpose yards in the league!

LIEFL Super Bowl X I I Legendary LIEFL All-Pro Back Dexter Bussey of the Detroit Lions finally had his well earned glory day in the league by exploding with runs of 58, 23, and 24 yards in his record setting rushing game, setting a Super Bowl Record! Bussey finished with 222 rushing yards, including three touchdowns on the day! NFC Championship Game MVP Herman Moore shared Super Bowl XII MVP honors with Bussey as Moore added three touchdowns of 53, 41, and a 33-yard catch on the last play of the game, to bury a highly-touted, but worn out New England defense. Dexter Bussey has been one of the greatest players in this competitive league with his player base celebrating 50 years of age. We take great care of the player bases in our league, especially Bussey's and players like him.

(March 26, 2017) The story of Super Bowl X I I I was OJ Simpson! Who could ever forget Coach Billy O'C's 2017 magical journey of the AFC Wild Card Buffalo Bills! O'C's Bills destroyed every team in the LIEFL Tournament of Champions as coaches looked on in disbelief as it happened! That is the great wonder of electric football that has coaches around the world asking: Do these players have minds of their own? How do they do it? OJ Simpson dominated the metal board warriors with a record-setting 620 all-purpose yards, including a Super Bowl BEST "seven" touchdowns against the defending Super Bowl X I I Champion Detroit Lions 49-35, dismantling an angry Johnny-Freeport's NFC best! Buffalo would go on to outscore their opponents 179 to 103 in a stunning season finish, showing the importance of how this LIEFL highly vetted team performed in 60-minute games! No player has dominated the playoffs in the LIEFL the way Simpson did in 2017, and the Bills have not had the level of success since this game. The LIEFL draft continues to challenge and improve the league.

2020 SEASON: Revenge for the Packers: All season long coaches criticized Green Bay Packers legendary Coach Ed Viggs, that his Pack didn't play anyone, and that was why they had such a great record, but Green Bay played a MONSTER playoffs in the LIEFL Tournament of Champions! They became the GOAT in 2020, winning nine games to one loss! From their high powered defense to their offensive explosion throughout the playoffs, the Packers showed the league who's boss! It was a sensational Sterling Sharpe who gained the momentum by carrying the Packers to the NFC Championship Game, right through to the Super Bowl, beating one of the most storied LIEFL teams, the Miami Dolphins. Sharpe's stunning 100-yard kick return in overtime sunk Miami's hopes for a record seventh Super Bowl win in what has become the highest scoring LIEFL Super Bowl ever, 52-49! What a game!

Coach Johnny-Freeport's Wild Card Atlanta Falcons took Coach Ed Viggs Los Angeles Chargers into overtime to win a LIEFL SUPER BOWL XVIII thriller! Gerald Riggs won his first Super Bowl for the "Dirty Birds Posse'" with his workmanship. Riggs had 17 touches for 433 all-purpose yards with a touchdown, but his setups carried the team the entire game. The game winning touchdown catch went to a new star in town, Austin Hooper who had 3 catches for 125 yards with two touchdowns, including the 33-yard game winner! This Falcons win was enjoyable to watch one of our premiere players Gerald Riggs, win his first ever LIEFL Super Bowl! Riggs hasn't slowed up with his 50 year old player base. He dominated the NFC playoffs with upsets over Green Bay, previously unbeaten Washington, then Carolina, and finally beating these Chargers to become the third Wild Card team in LIEFL history to win a Super Bowl!
