Hoping for some advice. Given the sale prices and the interest my 8 year old son has shown in something I loved as a kid, I was thinking about adding a surprise for him under the tree. I am considering the deluxe set with the AFC/NFC end zones but they have the less expensive plastic surface and the metal surface. I'm just trying to decide based on which one works better out of the box, what if he doesn't like it and I buy the more expensive one, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I buy one I need to get it ordered in time for Christmas.
