2024 LONG ISLAND EFL 112 GAME REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE 8TH STRAIGHT 7-GAME SEASON!

 

Long Island Electric Football League. May 16, 2024 NEWS. The league kicks off July 15, 2024

The LIEFL schedule consists of 112 total regular season games with 32 NFL 67-Big Man teams in the hunt for LIEFL Super Bowl XIX. It's a new season, fierce rivalries, great electric football, and action packed thriving fast-paced competitiveness.

 

What a way to open the new LIEFL 2024, 8th consecutive, 7-game season format after ten successful 14-game seasons! It will be defending LIEFL Super Bowl XVIII and TOP Gun Tournament Champion Coach Johnny Freeport's exciting AFC North Champion Baltimore Ravens (4-5) taking on South Bronx Native Matt Zoo-York's 2022 Super Bowl Champion XVII Kansas City Chiefs (3-4), and Coach Levi Vick's tough Dallas Cowboys (5-3) will play Zoo-York's Cleveland Browns (1-6) in our first two of three opening games of the LIEFL 2024 season kicking off on July 15, 2024 in Week 1 action. Our third game on the 15th, features a 7pm game between Ed Viggs Green Bay Packers (4-4) against Coach Kevin Mack's Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) at Levi Vick's Trophy and Sports Basement!  The Home team will be determined by a coin toss because the actual NFL game is being played in São Paulo, Brazil!  The coaches are as exciting as the matchups!

Matt Zoo York said, "I can't wait for the competition again. The league is so good. Everyone agreed to commit to the 15th, and my teams are 100% ready for the battle." 

 

2024 Draft: To recap, Seattle, Cleveland, San Francisco, New Orleans received the top picks in the March 2024 (10-Round Draft, which consisted of a combined 14 total Packs of TTC and I T Z player bases), followed by the New York Jets, Arizona, Tennessee, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, and Cincinnati. The 2nd round of the LIEFL Draft seemed to pull the best drafted player bases. Only time will tell the true test!

 

 

BIG NEWS: Above is the 2024 new vinyl field covers which will be worn for the Long Island Electric Football League! We love it!

The LIEFL selected Nassau League, three time Super Bowl Champion Rhett Garner, a graduate of the University of South Florida, to be the alternate coach for the LIEFL 2024 season. This is a great choice considering Garner has won more than 175 games in the Nassau League and he ran his College "Gator League" back in 2000, where he won back-to-back titles, which makes it five championships with his Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Gator 67-Big Man League. As a fill in man, Garner is just happy to be playing in the league. That is a hefty victory number for the coach. Billy O'C disagreed with the league that Garner should be a fill in. O'C wanted Garner to have a few teams instead of being just an alternate because he lives locally like the rest of us, and O'C wants these coaches to have serious competition. SUNY College at Old Westbury graduate Andre Biggs, the brother of Bobby Biggs will also be joining the LIEFL coaching the Jacksonville Jaguars. That is two outstanding competitors! It is an exciting time!

 

LIEFL B R E A K I N G N E W S: WOW! By rule, any roster changes in the LIEFL must be submitted 30-days before league play begins. Cincinnati Bengals Coach Johnny Freeport didn't even give Ickey Woods a chance to hit the historic 8,000 yard mark in the LIEFL, just 423 yards shy of the feat. There's never a dull moment in the LIEFL. In some true house-cleaning, just before the start of this 2024 season Coach Johnny Freeport informed the league of a huge surprise announcement. Fed-up with the play of some of his teams, Freeport announced that his Bengals are retiring Ickey Woods who had a beautiful career with 7,577 all-purpose yards with 55 touchdowns. Woods is replaced by Texas A & M 5'8" 206 solid rookie Trayveon Williams. Williams will wear #32. Cincinnati also retired linebacker Bob Johnson and replaced him with a 6'0" 238P rookie, stacked and speedy Oklahoma State's Devin Harper who will wear #54. The Bengals could be for real!

 

Freeport said in an email to LIEFL Nation, "When it comes to electric football, I couldn't care less about your stats or what any coach around the world thinks of me, Booyah to all of you! Yeah, I know it's a fun hobby for everyone, but that's the difference between you and me. To each his own. For me, it's all about the wins and money baby. There's no hard feelings involved other than my passion to win and take care of business. Let these guys talk all they want about their players. I am getting rid of the old men from my teams, and I am building winners with the new player powerhouse bases. Cheer against me all you want, it only makes me better! Feelings don't win games man. Reality? There is a huge difference between Billy O'C's delusional explanation of Solitaire and self-proclaimed TAP play, versus fierce competitive league pay-for-play regardless of the league. A warning to the LIEFL. You better watch out for my teams. I am beasting for the $5,000K against these fools and I am putting my money where my mouth is. I've been beat before, but I have also handed out some embarrassing beatings to over-confident coaches too. Let the cards fall where they may but I am coming with swords drawn ready for war in every single minute of every game. At least I backup my talk with smash-mouth electric football. I don't care who you are or what you think or say, I ain't here to play Barbie and Ken with these sensitive LIEFL coaches. Lets rumble. Win or lose I am not quitting, so hopefully these LIEFL coaches are ready for me. I am storming the league this year with big plans, and I am gunning for everyone, especially that "Pretty Boy" Viggy" and the two new guys who don't stand a chance. They are coming from TAP like leagues. How are they going to pass with the yellow Tudor kicker/Passer? If they love passing, they better start practicing because we aren't a 4/5 or more stop pass or 6 stop, what they call action play league. One stop Baby! Good luck with that, and be ready for a much faster pace as a play caller under heavy clock pressure, without the countdowns and turnarounds. You need to know football here, and you have to be able to act/react fast. I don't practice in the off season, I just do setups of my plays with a 35 second clock."

 

Johnny Freeport has four teams: Detroit, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Cincinnati.

League Commissioner Billy O'C said laughing, "Hush. I won't bad mouth him. Let Freeport say whatever he wants because he may be in for a huge letdown. He forgets that the records he can't stand show us that he has lost 280 something games in this league. Yes he has won two LIEFL Super Bowl titles, but he seems to forget the sore loser he can be when his teams have their butts handed to them. On the flip side of having a Johnny-Freeport as a coach, I will say there are few who compete like him. He will always be our biggest critic against his own LIEFL and Solitaire, and that's fine. We are all against this guy with his trash talk, but to be 100% honest, our league would be much less exciting if Johnny Freeport stayed silent. Regardless of what anyone thinks, guys like highly-skilled Johnny-Freeport make a league better. He raises the level of competition in defense, running, passing and kick returns, and he gets the guys fired up! Freeport is a sizable guy in real life, and these coaches want nothing more than to shut him up and beat him on the scoreboard. You can bet the bank that Coach Ed Viggs will have a master plan this season against Freeport and his teams because the path to an AFC title could again, be against Viggs Chargers, and the NFC path may be through Viggs Washington Redskins or Green Bay Packers." Billy O'C is out again for the 2024 season, but he will help with the Forum in his free minutes.

 

Joe Bino will play with Seattle, Miami, Buffalo, and the LA Rams.

Coach Bobby Biggs said, "Yeah, okay, payback is a B______! This guy takes this stuff way too serious and he takes shots at everyone. I just want him to eat his words. I would love my teams to play his in the biggest games. I can't wait to see the schedule because I won't be (4-17) this year. I am changing the culture of my teams specifically to compete against loud coaches like Johnny. I have played in three good leagues over the years, and nobody talks as much as him."

 

Coach Biggs will play with Indianapolis, Jacksonville, and New Orleans.

 

Coach Levi Vick said, "He's a psychological that Freeport. I have to look at Johnny-Freeport like this: He was a real-life tough guy on the streets of New York in his career. The talk he does during a game can be a distraction if you let it. He plays better when he isn't talking, and I hate playing against him. I coach the Texans, Cowboys, and Patriots in the battle, so our paths are likely to cross in competition in 2024. Every single game in this schedule is critical because we only have seven, so if you lose the first few games, you'll be playing with your back against the wall for the entire season in this league. On another note, I am on the road to play Zoo-York's Browns in Week 1, and trying to stop Jim Brown and Mike Pruitt poses big problems because they are both such able players, but I think my front D-Line is ready to be tested, and we have to play big on the road!"

LIEFL Game of the Week: Determined based on the most exceptional game of the week, based on team performance, player performance and gravity of matchup.

Offensive Player of the Week: Must be exceptional, must have the most all-purpose yards in the game for the week, stood out with 100-yard kick returns or touchdowns, made history by setting or breaking an LIEFL historic record.

Defensive Player of the Week: Must be exceptional, noticeably dominated a game by preventing the offense from breaking all-purpose yards in the game, made most tackles of any player in the schedule week, made history by setting or breaking a record.

 

Week 1 is a huge scouting week for the coaches. Most show up literally taking numbers of players to watch along with what they do that it so special so that they can prepare for that player should they play. Johnny Freeport is big on that, but no one prepares like coach Viggs. Each team MUST have at least three Home games on the schedule.

Always enjoy reading your stuff and your passion for the sport of Electric football as well.

I'm so happy that you like the field cover. We will see how it works and it does look very nice. The only thing we would have done different is have the yards a little larger if you know the Rose Bowl field the numbers are a little small.

 

We will be excited to follow your solitaire games as usual and look forward to it when are you starting up?

I am actually two games into my solitaire season right now.   
The TVEFL, my competition league,  will start preseason in August.

I am excited for this season in the TVEFL as my Son-in-Law has said he will play this year.
