Conclusive evidence to overturn

I've had fun reviewing plays this season, as I have videoed a lot this year.  However, sometimes I've struggled with conclusive evidence to overturn.  See the attached play.  Ruling on the field was TD.  In full motion video, I thought he was. untouched.  Upon slow motion review, the runner #25 may have touched by #16.  Its very close and it looks like it may have touched.  #25 may have moved just a fraction as a result of the touch, but that can also be board vibration.

In the end, I had to uphold the call on the field.  Its alway so tempting to make the change though.

Hi Greg, Yup, that was close. I agree with how you call your games because they are exactly that, your games. 🙂

I default to - if a call is too close to tell, the call goes to the benefit of the home team for a little bit of home field advantage. So that probably didn't help you much, sorry. 😞

Well the home team did get the call regardless 😁

IMHO, no he was not touched. I like the fact that you're taking another look at it if you're in doubt because it was a scoring play. Ruling on the field stands. :referee:

Very close on slow motion.  I didn’t think it was even close to a touch real time.

i would like to add that like the way you do things. i also added in the review rule for close plays since i record every play pretty much and i also added in a coaches challenge but in order to challenge a play you must roll 1-5 on a 6 sided die, i feel it adds a should i, should i not factor since i am playing solitaire
