The state of Uni-Forms

I just ordered three of the last four Uni-Forms I need from the current NFL crop available. I have enough to do for a long while, now. Even if production were to be phased out, I’ll be busy for a minute, since I average about a team a week. Of course, I’m hopeful to see the line continue and to be able to acquire most of the uniform and helmet changes coming down the pike this season. We just don’t know, do we? The rollout last year was amazing. It might be the Disney vacation of rollouts. Happens quickly, then all you’ve got to remember it by is the slides to show when you want to torture the houseguests. Nevertheless, we are all playing EF Limbo here. I just hope when I look back on it this time next year, I am as fond of the memory as last year’s rollouts,  and not like my Christmas when I was ten. I mean, really Mom, how many times did I say,”Johnny Lightning”?!?!?

The Mako Shark was my favorite Johnny Lightning. Very heavy and very fast.

It is a case of missing communication. I deal with this with general contractors all the time. Herbert White, the former Dean of Indiana University Library and Information Science program, wrote that what staff can imagine is alway far worst than reality. In the case of Uni-forms the product is tied directly to the NFL License which is a very valuable license. :NFL: So I would speculate that Uni-Forms are safe. Beenutt might tweak Uni-forms to fit his line of action figure. That wouldn't be surprising.

I watched a Youtube video that suggested Beenutt and ITZ should join forces. If the hobby is shrinking that would be a good idea, but if the hobby is expanding then two companies competing for market share is probably beneficial for consumers. 🤑

My mind wanders on and on. 😵‍💫

On the upside, I received so many shipments from Tudor last week that the U.S. Postal Service had to give me my own zip code. I have enough bases and free figures to fortify me for whatever 2024 brings. 🫣

Enjoy the Journey.    T43.  🏈♾️
