Rams came out swinging with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Pat Haden to Preston Dennard.

On the next possession, the Niners went to work. Montana scrambled to the Rams' 5, and Ray Wersching hit a 22 yard Field Goal.

The Niner defense stuffed Eric D. to a halt...

And then took the lead on a 29-yard TD Strike from Montana to Rice -

After a Ram punt, the Niners closed this one out with a 25-yard strike from Montana to Dwight Clark. Joe Cool was under heavy pressure as he let this one fly.

And Clark made the grab at the flag.

Final for this one - 49ers: 17, Rams: 7.
