Suggestion for making uni-forms better

Mike

Recommended Posts

I have now completed 15 uni-forms teams.  The two suggestions I have to improve the looks of the teams are:

1. Die cut the numbers.  The rectangle numbers take away from the look.  Obviously this would only be possible for the back and front numbers.  It would be a huge improvement.

2.  For throwback teams only please do not do the helmets in the speed style.  If possible, drop the lines.

My big wish still is for nameplates to come out.

I’ve completed 6 teams and I’m just glad the cuts have gotten better. My first team to do, the home Lions, were like learning to type on blind, manual keys. I didn’t know it was a poor cut job until I read on the forum what the deal was. Still, for a first time, they turned out pretty good. Now I’m doing the throwback Cardinals and the cuts are amazing and it’s just a lot of fun! Not to mention getting the right tools to make the job easier. I’m still wanting to complete teams that were just pre-Seahawks/Bucs expansion. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy with the product. Die cut numbers sound good.

I understand about the shading in the white Uni-Forms, but I have received more positive comments on my away teams than any other directly to do with the shading and look of those teams! The comments I get, more than others are, “realistic”, “incredible”, and “ how’d they do that?!?”. Yes, I still think pre-speed helmet teams not having speed helmets would be nice, but not a dealbreaker. I hope we have a drop of new teams soon!
