Just thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has fixed a warped / bent metal playing field successfully?

When I received my game from Tudor I had bought 2 extra teams to go with the board and they had packed it inside the box under the playing field. Unfortunately it must have encountered some rough shipping and when I opened it I noticed the field surface was wowed up in one spot where the container with the extra players were placed. I have included a picture showing the wow between the 30 and 55 yard lines at the top of the picture.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this.........for now I just tell people that's where Jimmy Hoffa is buried 🙂

Yes, you should be able to fix this pretty easily. The best way is to take a hairdryer and heat up the metal board and then press down on it and it will usually seal back to the black frame.  If it does not hold, do the same thing but before heating, add a small line of superglue between the frame and the metal.

Right on will give that a try never would have thought to try that.......didn't want to try anything to crazy and accidentally dent the surface and then be really screwed.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Doug's suggestion was spot on, I was able to put Jimmy Hoffa to rest and my field looks great and the plays along that side line are back to normal........big thumbs up.

Guess it would have been more realistic if the bump was in the end zone. Then I would have looked for a field overlay of Giants stadium and really had a conversation piece 🙂

Fix:

Lay the board facedown on a flat surface, and use a hair dryer on high heat to make the adjustment. Once the field is straightened, remove from heat and allow to set in a cool, dry place for 24 hours.

I have a more difficult, perhaps impossible situation. I got a table from marketplace for free. Initially I was over the moon!  When I took it home and flipped it over, I saw some dents. Is there anything I can do, or is it too far gone?  Thanks!  Patrick. I’ll add a picture as soon as I figure out how from URL.
