That's how I kick-off now. Seems to work well. Also, for on side kicks, I use the AAF rule, which is a 4th and 15 play.

I'm no expert by any means, but to slow and be patient. You will ruin a few bases but the game will be much more fun once you get your bases tweaked. Watch a few videos, get some pliers and a small heat gun. Did i mention to go slow and be patient? Most importantly, have fun.
