  1. I’m off today and tomorrow and binge watching, no not the walking dead or Suits, I’m watching me some USFL games from the 80’s of course. Very nostalgic and cozy. Hopefully somewhere down the line the original USFL teams get released. Extremely cool uniforms and logos. LA Express and Oakland Invaders would be all I need.
  2. The emails that we’ve received are “exciting” but without knowing exactly when or having a date, it’s kinda hard to get excited. I can’t tell someone that I’m going to give them $1,000 without expecting them to immediately say “well when??” with their hand sticking out. Where all hungry and just want to know what time is dinner. 3 plus years of out of stock.
  3. I’ll say it again, giving the hobbyist more information and transparency on what’s to come and more so when to expect items to be available would be appreciated. I.E. what’s the future of the uni-forms?? When will the painted teams will be READY to buy? And which teams will be in stock etc. Just saying they’ll be in for Christmas isn’t enough information. (Can my wife get on tudorgames.com and order these BEFORE Christmas so that their under my tree on Christmas morning?) The date of things doesn’t matter as long as we have a date.
  4. The buzz and excitement would really get going for the football and holiday seasons with some kind of poll. Can’t please everyone but take a poll on what teams we want to see produced. They have the ultimate say but it would be a blast to vote on: Who do you want to see?? The Steve Largent Seahawks/ The creamsicle Bucs/ The Stanley Morgan Patriots/ The Love ya blue oilers or the Mike Quick eagles?? Top 2 teams get produced first. That would be fun.
  5. For me it was misleading to say “College teams will be available next week” without being specific about what to expect. I was extremely excited to see the announcement only to be extremely disappointed when I saw that they were old Miggle toys stock. For the real ones that have been around this hobby for years (42 for me) I would’ve liked to see it phrased as these are the old school college teams but there’s more to come with a ETA attached to it. Even with the pre-painted nfl teams that are on the way. Just saying they’ll be here for Christmas just isn’t enough information and communication. I understand that they just took over and things take time but updates would be nice.
  6. I remain positive and optimistic. I felt like a kid on Christmas Morning until I clicked on the teams and saw that they were all the OLD, not so good painted college teams. Not to mention the price they’re going for. $19.99 to $21.99 for the big men. I was hopeful that these were New stock college teams, even posing the question to the forum previously about what exactly we’re getting. I’ve been around this game long enough that when I saw the teams start to populate on the website and the names of the teams, I knew they were old stock. Doug tried to sell me on these a few times but they’re just not up to par. In my opinion put these and other items like them in a clearance section and move on to bigger and better things. Again I remain positive and optimistic because these guys seem to have so much talent. But come on.
  7. Anyone know which college teams will be available next week? That’s pretty fast. I wonder if they were in the works during the transition period or what? They have licenses with 30 colleges so I’m just curious.
  8. The cool thing about Beenutt hopefully bringing back the classic uniforms is to put numbers on the uniforms of the great players from that team. The all white dolphins of the 70’s and 80’s bring back such iconic names. I could have Marino, the Mark’s Brothers, the Blackwood Brothers, Nat Moore, Larry Csonka, Nick Buoniconti etc. And being a Titans fan, to bring back the Oilers would be great. There’s 10 times the amount of Oilers greats than the Titans. I could do the whole Oilers team from “The House of Pain” days and have me a Earl Campbell figure. Ken Stabler, Warren Moon, Alvin Bethea, Mike Renfro to name a few. You can’t put Marino’s 13 on a uniform of a player from these days just like I wouldn’t put Warren Moon’s number 1 on one of my Titans figures. It has to be on the throwback. Someone mentioned classic Seahawks in the white jersey earlier. Man don’t even get me started on how sweet those would be.
  9. Mr Beenutt, please hear my plea, let the patriots uniform’s from tonight be one of your first releases. Yes, I’m begging lol. And I would love college wise to see the Colorado Buffaloes in all white from week one and all black from last night. Yeah I’m on the bandwagon wagon but at least I jumped aboard as soon as I heard Prime Time got the gig. By the way my favorite teams are UCLA and Tennessee Titans.
  10. Well said nefgm.org. And will they be traditional style figures or Beenutt figures. And let me say again, pre-painted quarterbacks please! The conference sets. Some college quarterbacks wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
  11. Bama home and away, auburn home blues. I would have to buy a lot of bama sets to deck out all the greats that have had come through there and of course some to put away in the vault. Easy money right there for Tudor. Interesting to see how they would do Bama’s helmets since they have numbers on them. A white dot? Or, these new guys seem so thorough and detailed in their work, maybe a set of helmet numbers for teams like Bama. Texas and Oklahoma would be pretty sweet. Notre Dame would be epic and although Penn State is pretty plain, I’d buy those so fast your head would spin. And last but not least, Georgia! Come on on back Herschel Walker and Champ Bailey!
  12. Merry Christmas to me if UCLA is one of the teams! I think it would be interesting to see teams like Maryland and San Diego State just because of their really elaborate helmets. Tar Heels would be kinda cool. Thoughts?
  13. I hope and pray that one of the vintage teams that Beenutt will produce is the all white Joe Klecko uniforms that the Jets are wearing today. Good Lord those are sweet!!
  14. Everyone’s perception or meaning of what this low point means to them is different. And every single one of us has and is entitled to their opinion. For me, I see all sides of it. Even though my opinion of the situation may be different from someone else, I still like to hear all sides and opinions. It just broadens my perspective. Now, EF being at a low point doesn’t mean that your happiness, love and affection for the hobby has diminished or wavered. It doesn’t mean that it’s the end of EF and that it’s on life support. Like I said for ME and where I stand, I’m not a painter, I don’t like Uni-forms. Attitude is reflected by leadership and for someone like myself who’s bought pre-painted figures for the last 40 years and to not have them available for 3 plus years, yeah, I’m a feeling like someone (Brian Nutt) needs to take this thing by the horns and get it out of this low productive place. Has nothing to do with my collection or passion for the hobby. I remember being a kid and my mom would only let us order 1 team each, I’d have my sister who could care less about football order one and then give it to me so I’d have 2 teams! But now I’m a grown man and make good money and want to spend it on pre-painted figures! Hundreds of them. So that’s how I define “low point” of the hobby. I think about EF all the time and have more love and passion and appreciation for the hobby than ever. It just has to be owned and operated by someone who shares that passion and I think Bryan Nutt is that dude.
  15. Not to be negative, but I agree it’s at a low point. Until the transition is in full effect and things start rolling, it’s at a low point. The truth hurts sometimes and people have a tough time keeping it real and honest. I’ve been logging on to the website for over three years now and it’s the same thing. Out of stock and just the same ol products. If you weren’t a fan of the Uni-forms, like me, you were completely out of luck. No pre-painted figures in over 3 years. This is nothing against Bryan Nutt but the production of pre-painted figures, quarterback sets etc is key. There’s so many creative hobbyists out there who can take matters into their own hands and create these amazing figures but a lot of people can’t. Don’t have the equipment, skills or technology. There’s a handful of photos that I see where people pull off some amazing figures but I see a lot that aren’t so great. So yeah we need someone to revitalize the hobby and produce some product. Bryan Nutt might be the best thing since sliced bread for the hobby but give it a year from now then tell me that the hobby isn’t at a low point. I believe in Bryan Nutt.
  16. I was watching NFL Game of the Week last night. It was a game during the 83 seasons (the year the got me hooked on football) between the Dolphins and Bills. Some “83” dolphins in all white would be pretty sweet. Marino, the Mark’s brothers and Blackwood brothers. Killer B’s defense, take my whole paycheck!
  17. 70’s Colts made me think hmmm, didn’t they have striped socks? That would be awesome if we saw a return of the striped socks. 80’s Bears, any era Chiefs and Joe Montana 49ers of the 80’s come to mind if this happens.
  18. One more thing. I hope we see a return of the old AFC/NFC quarterback sets that everyone has been begging for.
  19. Wouldn’t it be cool if Mr Nutt took a poll on teams that we would love to purchase? Of course produce the obvious hot teams of these days. But if Mr Nutt is watching I would like to formally enter my bid for the 70’s and 80’s Houston Oilers. Some Eric Dickerson days LA Rams would be nice. My third would be the Dan Fouts, Charlie Joiner early 80’s Chargers. Any thoughts about this gentleman?
  20. I don’t appreciate the sarcasm, greg. Very disappointing and disrespectful. Been in the EFL community for over 40 years and spent a lot of money. It’s pretty self explanatory to someone of intelligence. Don’t use these products around inventory is the message. I’m glad it’s not you that’s taking over based on your response. Constructive criticism never hurt anybody.
  21. Thank you for your sentiment. I hope Mr Nutt gets wind of this. Every collector is different. The gentleman who responded to my post may have had the same scent on his box or items and didn’t notice or pay it any mind. I inspect my figures and items carefully for broken players mainly or missing parts because that’s usually something to look for. I wasn’t looking for the smell in that case the smell found me. But again I look forward to seeing what the future holds.
  22. Please note that this was my experience. Both the shipping box and figures had a flowery, freshener scent that was very obvious and evident. It’s important to me that this doesn’t happen because I put all my items in tupperware and seal them with other items. Can’t have odors. I knew that someone would respond in defense of this but again this was my experience. I’m a collector that puts items away. If I displayed or played with my figures I would have considered just keeping them. Was bummed that I had to send them back. Again, he shipped them from his residence and I figured that’s why. My mom and wife would use fresheners and whether they were sprays or plug ins the smell would stick to everything, clothes, bedding, couches etc. But like I said if he’s moving operations to a warehouse from a residence then hopefully that will solve the issue.
  23. I think Mr Nutt will do great things. I have one issue. I had to return a entire order because the shipping box and items had a strong febreeze or glade plug in smell. I couldn’t put these items in with the rest of my collection because I knew the smell would get on my other items. I believe items were shipped from his house at the time and I know plenty of people that use fresheners around the house and those things can be strong and have a lasting effect. But if he will now have a warehouse and hopefully keep it free of odors, that would be great. No one wants bad odors like cigarettes or even good odors like air fresheners to arrive on items. Otherwise I’m excited for what’s to come.
  24. I’ve been begging Doug and Wyatt for those creamsicle bucs in the pre painted version.
  25. I wish Daryl was my neighbor lol. I’m sure you have a cool collection to look at. Always good energy and vibes. Love reading your posts.
