  1. I love it coach Daryl keep it coming! I like the idea of capturing some of the greatest games and moments by pairing up the teams with your orders. I’m torn between the “84” eagles dark jersey, “83” Cardinals all white, “83” dolphins all white (Mark’s brothers and Blackwood brothers) and the “82” vikings all white with black cleats and the ugliest, plainest yet so beautiful “83” Jets. Any votes??
  2. Pay for the custom teams. Trust me. Beenutt has some super talented painters doing the custom painted teams. Worth every single penny that you’ll pay.
  3. Coach Daryl I’m thrilled to hear that your team came out nice and the other exciting projects that you have in the works. I feel like you’re the ambassador for this, the first official feedback on the painted teams. I’ve got so many teams that I want to do. The Lawrence Taylor Giants, the Gritz Blitz Falcons (and the white shoes Johnson ones), the Roy Green Cardinals, the Mark Brunell Jaguars, Creamsicle Bucs, oh and the Archie Manning Saints of the early 80’s with the black pants, and some Billy Sims Lions of the 80’s. Some 80’s John Elway Broncos in the orange jersey would be nice. I can go on and on lol.
  4. Coach Daryl, how’d your custom painted Packers turn out??
  5. You’re 100% on the jersey numbers not being included or applied. Sold separately. I was wondering the same thing about the face masks and chin straps. Anyone know if they’re included?
  6. Yes they will! Go to gridiron-uniforms.com and let your imagination run wild. Nothing but vintage teams for me for a while. You have to email Bryan once you made your selection and order. You place the order under that team name but let them know for example that you ordered the Buccaneers but would like them in the 1979 creamsicle uniforms. Merry Christmas to us!
  7. I hear you coach Daryl. I’m pretty stoked about one of my many teams being the 1983 Redskins! Painted and decals on the fab five figures. My wife and me have our fingers on the trigger ready to pull it.
  8. OMG!! I’m so happy that I emptied out my wallet and went bonkers on the teams that the previous owners produced. $14.95, fab five figures with great paint jobs. I have enough to last me 2 lifetimes. I’ve been around for all of the previous changes in ownership and it felt like a passing of the torch. This feels different. Like it’s something else all together. Maybe I’m old school and set in my ways but I just want to log onto the website and have painted teams of the entire league ready to roll for a reasonable price.
  9. I’ve always appreciated your support, positivity and feedback Coach T43’s. Thank you for the input and information. Very well said.
  10. I saw the Commander figures and I thought the paint job is spectacular. But I can’t bring myself to purchasing teams done with Beenutt figures. I’ve been around this hobby for a long time and I’m too partial to the fab five figures. I would order “individual” Beenutt figures to capture my big, bulky players like Bo Jackson, Jerome Bettis, Christian Okoye, Derrick Henry etc. I like the build of the quarterback from the set but the other players are too bulky. Also, the pant length should be shorter and the jerseys should be sleeveless unless the intent is to capture a vintage team. Vintage teams wore bigger fitting uniforms. Previous ownership was able to create this. I’m still thinking about dishing the $100 plus for 2 teams for collection purposes. Sadly, it might be over for a EF collector like myself who loves the fab five figures. I haven’t seen or heard anything about fab five being phased out.
  11. I was on the website and noticed that NFL teams are available. That’s the good news. Where do I start with this. First of all respectfully and in my opinion, I hope that this is just a option and that the real painted teams are in the works. First of all, the teams will be dressed up with the water slide decal sets that didn’t go over well with some folks, some of the decal sets, like the Browns were created a few years back when the Browns were wearing those terrible uniforms. Thank goodness they switched back to their original uniforms. It looks like a way of getting rid of the inventory of decal sets. It will cost $25 a pop. Not including numbers. This makes me feel misled in the way I felt when the big announcement about the College teams being available only to find out it’s old Miggle toys college teams from the 90’s. Also, Beenutt figures going forward? That’s the figures pictured in the photos. Hopefully the figures that I grew to love aren’t phased out. Most of us are long time EFL enthusiasts and a change in the figures would be a sad thing for me. Beenutt figures should be a option not the mainstay. But again, maybe this is a temporary thing to get rid of what is probably a huge amount of water slide decal sets. Finally, the wait time is 2-3 weeks for delivery. I order in bulk so would it take even longer? Is the shipping time for ordering 1 team the same as if I ordered 10? Plus with all of y’all putting in orders I don’t see it being a smooth ordering and receiving process. Some clarity would be awesome and appreciated.
  12. I would love some Redskins painted teams in the 80’s uniforms. White jersey, burgundy pants and the striped socks. To have Doug Williams, Joe Theismann, Darrell Green, John Riggins, Dexter Manley, Art Monk and the Fun Bunch, to name a few, in Electric Football figures would be pretty amazing. One can dream right??
  13. “generic teams” lol. But you guys are smart and figured that out I’m sure
  14. I remember very very well. 2016. I would log on to tudorgames.com for years and would only find the generic terms painted in NFL team colors. No licensing for years. Then I logged in one day and BOOM!! There was this picture.
  15. That’s the million dollar question my friends. I’ve been checking my resources every day. I even directly reached out to Bryan a few weeks ago and was told Christmas time and probably not all of the teams as he’s trying to build up the company. As I look around and see Christmas decorations, commercials and shopping begin…even heard some Christmas songs in Target the other day, an update or release date would be great. Even if they’ve been delayed, just some kind of news is needed.
  16. These are truly special and priceless treasures. Phenomenal work
  17. My brother is a die hard, loyal Lions fan. We’re from Sacramento California and didn’t have any teams. The Kings came along and oh yeah we had the Sacramento Surge for a minute but we had to pick a team. I went with the Houston Oilers, (it was the house of pain, the powder blue and Warren Moon for me). And he chose the lowly Lions. You can’t get him to say one bad thing about the Lions, even the year they went 0-16!! He couldn’t get enough of the uniforms last night, especially the helmets. Yes those would fly off of the shelves in Uni-forms and pre-painted teams. P.S. Shout out to the Sacramento River Cats!! They’re arguably bigger than the Kings in Sacramento. Didn’t want to hear from my Sac Town peeps about how I didn’t mention them above lol
  18. Thank you for sharing this. I have never heard this information either. I was hopeful for a hot second that something like what happened with the Browns would happen with us but those hopes were quickly dashed when the announcement came out that the Houston Texans were on the way in 1999. With their first season being 2002. It was a no brainer to move with the Titans with all my boys. Eddie George, Steve McNair and coach Jeff Fisher.
  19. As a Titans fan I have mixed emotions about seeing my boys in our Oilers throwbacks. I love the Oilers uniforms to death. The most beautiful uniforms ever. I just wish we could’ve worked something out to bring the Oilers back to Houston. Heck, the Browns did it! Believe it or not I still have a tough time even after 26 years with losing the Oilers. But go Titans! Now there is something that would make me feel a little better. Some Houston Oilers pre-painted teams! Mr Nutt if you’re reading this please hear my plea!
  20. That’s all great news and fine and dandy. But the elephant in the room remains in the room. Let it out! Lol. When can we expect pre-painted NFL teams to be ready for purchase?? Better hurry. Santa’s asking me what I want for Christmas and this tops my list. Santa (my wife) is starting to shop. I mean there’s nike’s, Star Wars figures and race cars that I collect that would make me happy to see under the tree but nothing beats electric football! And yes, shout out to all of our kids. Young and grown. I have one of each. I have one grown (30) and one young (7). Both girls. I’m definitely a girl dad.
  21. Hey coach! All of my searches on ebay , including the one I did just now have come up empty. I see some individual chiefs players for sale but no sets of either team. I even switched up the wording in the search bar. And as far as tudor or aka The Out of Stock Boys, they haven’t had either team pre-painted in either team for over three years.
  22. I’m sure people have them in their collection but with the success of both teams and the fact they are like gold to collectors, I don’t think you’ll find them out there. BUT, a restock “around Christmas” is coming so if you can hold on a little longer and his birthday is in December, you might be in luck. I’ve never seen either of these teams online other than when they were in stock. I think the “popular” teams will be available initially and not the whole NFL as new ownership generates revenue. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cheifs for sure and the Bills are part of the first wave of teams in December. Maybe not the cardinals and panthers lol. No offense!
  23. Painted NFL figures are on the horizon
  24. I know right?? Somebody? Anybody? It’s some great painters in this fraternity but I’m not one of them, I’ll leave it in the hands, pun intended, of the professionals. Just the little kid in me putting this on my wishlist. 80’s kid signing out!
  25. Coach Daryl I think that the loud thud I just heard all the way here in California was you dropping the Mic! Super duper cool that you were a regular at the games. My Kinda memories. The Generals would be awesome because I could dress out Herschel Walker and Doug Flutie with Brian Sipe backing him up. Maurice Carthon leading the way for Herschel of course. THE. HOUSTON. GAMBLERS would make my heart sing. I would absolutely buy the whole league. Yes you guys, even the Washington Federals, Denver Gold and the San Antonio Gunslingers lol. Honorable mentions are the Tampa Bay Bandits and the Pittsburgh Maulers.
