Why is Ekelar an MVP candidate?  Watch #30 clear the pile and turn back North to South.  His base (ITZ Blitz) has had this

uncanny ability all season.  So weird how these players/bases have personalities of their own.  (Glad he didn’t hit the football I left on the field 😂)

In the first video it appears the Chargers pull guard #52 to block the Dolphins' Edge Rusher #1. Guard #52 turns #1 right around and Chargers' Tackle #3 seals the edge. Beautiful. Chargers' WR #13 blocks the Dolphins' cornerback to the inside and Ekelar runs behind the WR for a First Down. Just like real football. Beautiful.

This is an uncanny ability and I search for it in my Tudor bases, ITZ bases, and Buzzball bases. Most bases follow the base in front of them and end up getting a small gain. Then along comes the really uncanny base that is able to bounce to the outside. I see that Ekelar is on an ITZ green base. Is that base the CL-2 Formula 100 GREEN Standard Base ?

If it is the formula 100 then your experience matches mine. My ITZ Formula 100 and formula 55 bases are rigid enough to bounce to the outside. The softer plastic (in my experience) seems more inclined to cling to the base in front. I'm not entirely sure what the Klingbeil brothers mean by, "... a high level of athleticism."

Yes, they do have a personality of their own. Finding that personality is part of the fun.

No big highlights in the 2nd quarter.  Dolphins hit a 53 yard FG, the Chargers go 3 & out.  The Dolphins miss. 46 yard FG.  Then the Chargers go down the field in the last minute of the half.  Herbert hits Allen for a 14 yard TD.

Halftime score is Chargers 21 Dolphins 10.  The Dolphins get the ball to start second half.

It’s actually a CL1.  I thought it was a HITZ til you asked.  Not sure about the formula.  I’ll see if I can tell.

After the last Ekelar TD run, Tua drives the Dolphins 60 yards capped off by  hitting Achane on an 8 yard pass.  The Chargers kicked a 52 yard FG to start the 4th.

Chargers 31 Dolphins 17

Wow.  I loved every video.

All your bases look to be tweaked to high level but your Ekelar is just amazing.

Thanks!!  I really worked hard in the off-season learning how to tweak.  Now, it’s paid off in some fun electric football 😊

I agree it’s always funny when you see a player with a personality so different from the others but isn’t that what we try so hard to do? give our players distinct strengths and weaknesses so i always love it.
