Wow! What a game! Together, the two teams scored 105 points. That's 14 touchdowns, a safety, and six 2-point P.A.T.s.

There were a lot of storylines in this Fruit Bowl. For the Christmas Spirit this video is the most painful of narratives. The Christmas Spirit have now lost back-to-back Fruit Bowls in the closing seconds.

On the upside the 1965 Oughtin' Otters prove once again that in football 2 seconds is an eternity.

Another interesting storyline was Christmas Spirit Tailback #20. He joins an ignominious list of running backs who rush for over 200 yards and their team loses the Fruit Bowl.

 

 

Just watching those runs again got my heart pounding again! If #20 was human I'd say he has great instincts. For plastic peeps I'll just say #20 always seems to find the crack in the defense and then turns that hole into a touchdown.
