Both teams have one loss in the 31st Season Double Elimination Tournament so the losing team will be eliminated.  😞

Iron Horse Rookie #32 cost the Iron Horse a First Down, and probably a Touchdown, so I benched him.

10 — 10 at halftime. Iron Horse WR #7 turned a little back shoulder pass into a 67 yard touchdown.

Wow! Controversial call of the season coming up here.

Suncats' Kick Returner #8 runs up behind the wedge and seems to get stopped. I stopped filming and changed my POV so I could see what happens next.

What happens next is a 57-yard kick return.

 

I ruled that Forward Progress never stopped. Sure, the part of the base forward-progressing changes, but the player never comes to a stop. (Except when I cut the power.)

The game ended with a bit of a thud. 🫤 The Iron Horse had the opportunity to tie, and perhaps win the game, but the dice came up incomplete two plays in a row. 

Suncats 24      Iron Horse 17.     Ironic of course. This is the 6th Iron Horse Season and the Iron Horse are the first team to exit the tournament.

Interesting call. Had it been me, I would’ve called the player down. I tend to like the call though. I’ve run this replay many times and will probably run it a few more. Entertaining as always!
