If like running between the tackles...

Recommended Posts

... You will love this video.

Suncats' Halfback #25 hit the E gap and bounced outside. Then, Suncats' #25 cuts back to the middle of the field.

Thunderbirds' Defensive End #95 stays with the play and chases down Suncats' #25.

A bone-jarring block by Suncats' Center #55 sets #25 free and #25 races to the end zone.

I use Stop Forward Progress Tackling so a defender touching the ball carrier doesn't constitute a tackle. Also, my players have a minimum weight requirement of 5 grams that's why they have screws, washers, and nuts to bring them up to weight.

On instant replay you can see #25 voluntarily stops forward progress so the Touchdown was called back. However, #25 puts the electric in "electrifying runs."

From that same game...

... Thunderbirds' Halfback #26 takes the pitch and cuts up field. He makes contact with Suncats' Nose Tackle #78 and then Suncats' Outside Linebacker #45 brings the hammer down. 🔨 In the slow motion replay you can see #26 actually rocks up on two prongs. Still, Thunderbirds' #26 maintains his balance and scores the touchdown.

                                                                Thunderbirds Beat Suncats in Overtime.

I expected the Thunderbirds to win. The Thunderbirds won the Fruit Bowl in season 22 and this team is nearly the same team that won that Fruit Bowl. Wide Receivers #13 and #3 are the heart of the Thunderbirds. They are truly a passing team.

Thunderbirds' WR #3 was named this game's MVP.
