COACH: Paddy Brannigan (12-15)

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a historic Long island Electric Football League team. Coach Paddy Brannigan started out with a difficult loss on the road to the New York Giants on opening day, losing that game 10-7. They did beat the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans in weeks two and three. The game that stood out most was the 14-0 loss they suffered to the Tennessee Titans defense. The following week in week five, they lost at home to their division rival Baltimore Ravens 20-17, in overtime, and last week the Steelers lost Cincinnati, 17-14. The Steelers have tried to keep it on track because they need the to start finding their competitiveness as a team using the services of wide receiver Lynn Swann. Swann's ankle injury slowed him up last year, but this year he has shown signs of improvement with 463 yards in kick returns and two touchdowns. The usual explosive running game of Jerome "Bus" Bettis has been held back by an underperforming frontline. Coach Brannigan has to put some lineman in play who can open the trenches for the BUS so he can steal games. Bettis only has 259 yards with five touchdowns on 33 carries, but he also has a reliable 226 yards in kick returns.

Coach: Matt "Zoo York" McQueen (10-15)

The Cleveland Browns are a very good defensive football team, but the running game they once had has disappeared. Coach Matt "Zoo-York" McQueen needs to work this team in the January Draft until he gets it right. Baltimore needs competition in the AFC North. The big guy in the backfield is Jim Brown, who has led this team for the last few seasons in stats. While Brown's weakness is in the rushing department with only 94 yards and one touchdown in six games, he has created a lot of damage on special teams with 13 carries for 742 yards, with a 100 yard touchdown return. Cleveland fullback Mike Pruitt, has filled in at running back nicely and in the last three games. Pruitt has rushed for 50, 33, and 38 yards with two touchdowns. Cleveland has to get things going today and they have to draft a running back who is reliable or two linebackers who can press open the inside game for this tough Cleveland Browns football team. Don't be fooled by the record. The only games that they were dominated was against was the NFC East games against the Washington Football Team who beat the Browns 10-0, in WEEK#3, and then in WEEK#6 last week, the New York Giants destroyed Cleveland 14-0, taking advantage of all the mistakes Coach McQueen made. Mistakes cost games! This Browns team has not recovered from that 2017 major upset and thrashing and embarrassment by Coach Billy O'C's Buffalo Bills, who beat the Browns 42-14, in the AFC Divisional Game during Buffalo's run for the title!

BROWNS EDGE STEELERS IN GREAT RIVALRY TO END SEASON!

November 20, 2020 Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland's Jim Brown took the opening kickoff return 79 yards on an explosive run to the Pittsburgh 21-yard line. What a setup! The Steelers have not yet been eliminated from the playoff picture with the Jets at (3-3), New York plays New England (2-4), at New England in the season finale, so it could get interesting. On first down, Browns running back Mike Pruitt ran for nine yards, just a yard shy of the first down for Cleveland. One of the problems this season has been that Jim Brown was hooking on to his linebackers, and that's why he had so few yards in the backfield. The Browns had to change that because with this decent front line, they can have a nice running game.  Brown wasn't able to accelerate off of the guards. This is a great division rivalry!

On second down for Cleveland,  Pruitt ran the ball to the Steelers 11-yard line and the first down markers were brought onto the field to measure for the first down to see if he got the first down with 10:57 left to go in the half. Pruitt was just centimeters short of the first down. On third down the Steelers stopped the Browns at the 11-yard line forcing a fourth down decision. Cleveland decided to kick the 11-yard field goal and take the lead 3-0, with 7:59 left to go in the half!

On Pittsburgh's first kick return, Lynn Swann had an amazing runback as he rambled down field for a hundred yard touchdown with 6:42 left to go in the half! What a run by Swann, to give the Steelers the lead 7-3, on a gorgeous run! This is exactly what the Steelers needed! "Swanny" is back!

On the very next play, Cleveland's Jim Brown wasn't having it. Brown returned the favor to Pittsburgh as we just witnessed back-to-back 100-yard touchdown runs to make the score 10-7, Cleveland goes ahead with the lead on the Brown touchdown! What a game with 5:05 remaining in the half!

On another explosive kick return by Lynn Swann he was stopped after running 41 yards into the arms of Clay Matthews, the Browns linebacker! On first down, the Jerome "Bus" Bettis got the Steelers going with a 25-yard run to the Cleveland 34-yard line, and this Pittsburgh was in striking distance with 2:18 remaining in the half. On second down, the Bus was taken down by Clay Matthews, who made the tackle again! Matthews is having a big day! The Steelers are in big trouble with 33 yards to go for the first down, Pittsburgh was at their own 43-yard line and they were forced to pass on third down. The Pittsburgh Steelers are finding out just how tough this Cleveland defense really is! On a breakaway play by Steelers receiver John Stallworth, Stallworth came up huge on a Terry Bradshaw 57-yard connection as the Browns watched Stallworth speed into the end zone for a Pittsburgh touchdown to make the score 14-10, Steelers with 14:39 left to go in the game! The Steelers brought all of their weapons into this exciting season finale!

Jim Brown is having a big day with a huge 57-yard kick return on the next play! On first down, on a tremendous run Mike Pruitt took it around the left side of Steeler line, down the field and into an open field for a spectacular 55-yard touchdown play to make the score 17-14, and this amazing division rivalry gives Cleveland the lead, 17-14! What a play by Pruitt!

On the next kick off then Lynn Swann ran the ball back 43 yards. And on first down, the Bus ran for another first down for 19 yards to the Cleveland 38-yard line with 5:38 remaining in the game! The Bus was stopped again by that tough defensive line of the Cleveland Browns on second down, forcing a third down pass play with 2:30 left to go in the game. The pressure was on Pittsburgh. And on a horrible mistake by a daydreaming Coach Brannigan, quarterback Terry Bradshaw was sacked in the end zone by Clay Matthews, who made his third tackle of the game, this time for points as Cleveland scores a safety! 19-14, the Browns are in the lead! This one is going to help clinch the game for the Cleveland with no time left in the game! Both teams are eliminated from the 2020 playoffs, as the Steelers walk off the field dejected in this wild shootout in the last game of the season! WOW! Great game!
