after one half of play this game is shaping out to be a good one. a very defensive battle to start the game with the only score up until the last play of the half was a fg. Texas currently leads 10-0 going into the 3rd quarter. There were so many close calls and moments in the first half it feels just like a playoff game should, high intensity. QB Jaiden Conley is expected to be benched coming out the second half as LSU gets the ball first, Coach had this to say about SR. Conley: “Ball security is our biggest enemy as of right now, i have faith our defense will hold up and continue to play great we can’t come out and throw 2 first half interceptions so we will be going with freshman QB Ian McCall in the second half.”

So Far Texas’ freshman QB Braden Trimble has rose to the occasion going 8/9, 122 yards, 1 TD, 3 carries, and 28 yards with 0 turnovers. his favorite target had been an unexpected Trevor McWilliams the TE for Texas totaling 3 catches and 56 yards in the first half.

Here are a few of those close plays and moments from the game. the picture is a close call TD to Terrion Cobb at the end of the half for the first TD of the game. The video is the first of Conley’s interceptions that was so close i almost couldn’t tell it was intercepted.

DONT CALL IT A COMEBACK. LSU manages to put up 28 points in the second half behind the arm of Ian McCall, once the freshman QB took over it was lights out his explosive arm pushed this offense over the edge and gave them the 28-24 victory. Let’s do some recap:

A throw to Leo Thunder which would’ve put them in Texas territory gets called back due to an Illegal pick on #7 Dontavion Norris:

 

2 plays later Norris makes sure to avenge his mistake with a huge TD grab to bring LSU within 3 points(BTW my tackle rules are front of base and front corners i looked at this play over and over yet it doesn’t seem like Duffey(the corner) makes any contact with Norris(WR) do i make the right call?):

 

LSU wins the game with a massive TD catch by Sr. Kenny Lowe where he rumbled breaking tackles for 80 yards:

coach Sarkisian certainly wasn’t happy with the call and it may have been what cost them the game but as you always say Journey On💯🔥
