September 1, 2020. Denver Colorodo.

PRE_GAME: We full well realize that we probably do these write-ups for ourselves to read, but keep in mind all of the visuals are as they are happening. If for nothing else, Tudor has allowed our history to be part of their history!

Every season in the Long Island Electric Football League the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Coach Pizz seems to come out with a burst of energy. The only criticism the Bucs seem to warrant is that they need to finish strong. This team has immense history dating back to 1977-78 when Pizz nearly beat Billy O'C's Miami Dolphins in the first Round, but the Bucs lost in a tight 7-3 game! That was back when the LIEFL had 4 divisions and two conferences. That conference is now known as NFC!

Fast-Forward to today's Buccaneers--they are much better than that 77' team, but the league has grown and the talent has improved. Today's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) and the Denver Broncos (1-1) are both owned by Coach Pizz so the Buccaneers will be played by the wild Joe "Bino" who is the alternate coach! Denver is another team that has not been able to break out and make a Super Bowl and one of the main reasons is because they can't get over that hump! So at least when these two teams take the field today the guy who has risen to the occasion most has been Tampa Bay's Ricky Bell along with Jimmy Giles who have charged the offensive power of the team. Playing in Denver will be a tremendous challenge for Tampa Bay on the road as the Broncos came so close to making the playoffs last year are they lost the final game of the season to division rival the Los Angeles Chargers. The Broncos are hell-bent on making the playoffs for the first time since 1992. That's 28-years!

The Broncos Terrell Davis has been a beast this season, with an offensive and defensive group of players who have the potential to make a Super Bowl if the momentum is right. Davis comes into the game with 21 carries for 545 yards with four touchdowns, two of them 100-yard returns! Coach Pizz said, "It has taken three straight season's to get to the point I am at with these Broncos. They are the real deal, but I don't want to be overly optimistic with all of the great coaches and teams in the league.  This league has at least 24 teams that can win a Super Bowl, so it is too early to say anything more. I will say we will talk on the scoreboard. It is a shame I have to play my own team in Tampa Bay because I love watching Jimmy Giles and Ricky Bell go to work." The alternate coach Joe Bino seemed his usual self, excited to play. Bino said, "I said it before and here I am saying it again, I have no allegiance to any one team. I come here to win!" Bino will play Pizz again next week as Denver meets the New York Jets.

Out of all the teams in the AFC Denver may be the best team to give the Chargers, the Bills and the Dolphins a run for their money.

THE GAME: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) vs. Denver Broncos (1-1).

The Broncos wasted no time running the ball back 59-yards as Terrell Davis made his way to the Tampa Bay 41-yard line. That terrific Bronco line opened up huge gaps in the Buccaneers line for Davis as he ran for 9, 30, and a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Broncos the lead 7-0, with 10:39 left to go in the half!

On the Bucs first kickoff All-Pro Jimmy Giles, took the ball back 40-yards as he was hit head-on by special teams player Rob Lytle as we could hear the impact of the hit with six people watching the game. Giles has been a gamer for Coach Pizz and he made an amazing pick in the 2019 Draft selecting Giles in the first round. The Orange Crush defense continues as the Bucs lose 15-yards on their first run.

On third down Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston threw a rocket to Jimmy Giles who took it 86-yards downfield for the touchdown 7-7, with 4:02 left to go in the half! Giles set this year's record for the longest pass reception for a touchdown!  What a game and what a play! Giles road the sidelines with Ed McCaffrey chasing him. Keep in mind these photos are taken as the play is happening.

On the ensuing kick-return Denver's Terrell Davis, who's having a sensational year, exploded for a hundred yard kick return to make the score 14-7 Broncos, with 2:47 left to go in the half! This is a heck of a football game!

To start the second half it didn't take long to figure out that the Broncos defense is relentless as they stopped Tampa Bay from getting the ground game on, as they lose 12 yards after once again. The Bucs and Winston had to rely on the passing game and on third down Dave Moore caught a 21-yard first down to bring the ball to the Denver 47-yard line. The buccaneers had their eyes set on tying the game with 12:09 left to go. The Broncos were just relentless as they pushed Ricky Bell back 14-yards for another loss as Neil Smith buries running back Ricky Bell into the dirt. The Broncos have been in the backfield the entire game showing off that LIEFL NFL league-leading defense from last year! The Broncos defense stopped the Bucs again, this time at the 44-yard line as Denver forces a third down and a running play as Tamopa Bay missed their passing opportunity.

The Bucs punted the ball away to a waiting Terrell Davis as he took the punt back 60-yards into Buccaneer territory at the 40-yard line with 6:34 left to go in the game! That mistake by Joe Bino of not getting the first down for Tampa Bay may end up being very costly. On the next run Davis started running right, and then he sliced back left for a 22-yard pick up. Davis was on fire as he ran the ball to the Tampa Bay 18-yard line for the first down. The Broncos are without question, playing playoff-style football as they pummeled a very good Tampa Bay Buccaneers team. If there ever was a time to gauge inside the organization, this was the time to see what Tampa Bay needed to improve playing against these Broncos as we watch Davis bust into the end-zone from 18 yards away to score his third rushing touchdown of the game to make the score 21-7 Denver, with 3:41 left to go in the game!

On an amazing kick return Jimmy Giles took the ball back 89-yards as he ran out of bounds at the 11-yard-line. Two plays later, Ricky Bell scored his only touchdown of the game from 11 yards out has Tampa Bay takes a beating from the Denver Broncos 21-14!

Denver's Terrell Davis had 300 total yards on 8 carries with three touchdowns giving him. Davis has 845 total yards for the season with seven touchdowns! What a day for Davis! Tampa Bay's Jimmy Giles continues to set records for the Buccaneers. He went four carries for 258 yards with an 86 yard touchdown! Denver (2-1) is on the road at the New York Jets (1-2), and Tampa Bay plays at home against the Los Angeles Chargers (2-1) in what will be a huge game!
