    Wow....learned I can't read either. Or add. Batteries connected in series add together. 1.5 + 1.5 still equals 3.

    Never mind my previous question. Took the time to look it up and also to learn a little bit too. Batteries connected in series add the volts together. Thus the 6 volts as The Major said.

    I know next to nothing about electricity so here is my question. If the Play Action Controller use 2 double A batteries at 1.5 volts each, why does an adaptor need to be 6 volts?
