Basically the loopers have a TTC base that have their dials turned to loop towards the QB. So, they're not made per say. It's just turning the dial on the base to have the figure loop inward.

I would use the TE in both ways. Just like they do in college or NFL.

Since TG is talking about offering classic uniforms for their Uni-Form sets, I wonder if they will consider offering waterslide decals of those classic uniforms as well?

These are all amazing!!

Hey, I'm not a Packers fan (although I have a great respect for that organization), but these figures look fantastic.

Thank you for sharing this. As one who will be painting for the first time, this is very informative.

I like the idea..

Very well done. I will soon be painting my first figures (2003 New England Patriots) because I want to begin getting all 32 teams from different eras painted and decals added so I can start a solitaire league. I rediscovered this wonderful hobby recently and I'm eager to dive into trying my hand at creating my own teams, as opposed to buying the already painted figures. I'm not going to be doing the Uni-Forms. So painting & decals will be something fun for me to do.

I bought the Tudor Games Passing Sticks, but I'm also practicing with the TTQB as well. I just rediscovered this wonderful hobby and as I kid I wasn't good at passing using the TTQB. At now 48, I want to be as good as I can at using the TTQB.

While watching EF games on YT and other sites I see coaches put under figures a rectangle shape flat form. The figures then do not move. The coach after a brief activation of the play stops it, removes the form from under the figure and points it toward the ball carrier. The figure moves.
Does anyone know what the form is called and where can I buy some?
John
I've been wondering this very same thing too.

Excellent article. I remember playing EF when I was in my tween and early teen years. I've recently reconnected with this game/hobby, and now as I wait for my new Tudor Ultimate board, I've started buying accessories and my teams figures. I plan on buying unpainted figures and the Tudor paints to start a project of painting each NFL teams best season of my choice.

I personally like the Vintage Solitaire Electric Football League (VSEFL) rules best.
I also think the TOC rules are really good too. Actually I like that one better than VSEFL.

Old 500 boards make gret tweaking and training boards.
Agreed. I'm waiting for my Tudor Ultimate board, which will obviously be my playing board. So, this 500 board will be my tweaking/training board.

I'm actually waiting for mine to ship now. After reading your review, I can't wait to start playing on it.

Idk bro. That paint you're using on this particular figure looks pretty sweet.

I also like using the passing sticks. Gives the defense a chance to break on the ball, and forces the offense to find a receiver who is truly open.
They do tend to make passing in the middle of the field close to the LOS well neigh impossible, though. So they aren't perfect.
True. I think both the traditional way and the passing sticks have their pros and cons. I would say when passing near the LOS like that, I would probably use the TTQB, since it's short, almost shovel pass type play.

Hey Pats…when you are playing solitaire, play the game how it is most enjoyable to you. I personally take things I like from different rule sets and incorporate them with my own ideas and build something that suits me.
I appreciate you Carl. Honestly I have no other real issues with the new rules. It's just that I just rediscovered the hobby, and I'm not as efficient with the TTQB and will certainly practice using them until I'm as efficient as I can be. But, I like the idea of passing sticks as a alternative.

I'm curious. Is it an option to use passing sticks if I'm playing a solitaire game to substitute using the TTQB, even though it states "no sticks"? That should be an option of mine, right?

Decal Question
in Figure Painting and Detailing
Posted
This week I'll start my first time painting and decaling Haiti Repro figures. My question is when putting the striped decals on the socks, will the decals fit naturally or will I need to cut the socks to fit?
