  1. Hey Guys!

Thanks for your interest in the Uni-Forms demonstration I did at the convention. This time we weren't able to film this part of the event, but we will be featuring it more prominently during upcoming World Championship events. In the meatime, I'm planning on being more active on our Youtube channel during the next few months where I'll be posting a series of in-depth Uni-Form tutorials. Stay tuned and thanks for your support!

  2.      What an amazing weekend! Thanks to everyone in the Electric Football community who made it out. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience and one we will be excited to repeat next year... only BIGGER and BETTER! Congratulations to Jim "The Hulk" Davis for his victory in the first Dogfish Head Electric Football World Championships and thank you to all of the fantastic coaches who participated. See you next year!

  3. Thanks Daryl! You have been a real champion of Uni-Forms and we really appreciate it. We aren't planning on phasing them out, on the contrary we're planning on releasing more designs in the coming year. Thanks everyone for all of your support and for allowing us to expand our product offerings to allow more people to experience this special game.

  4. Hey Uni-Forms fans,

We have been working on an exciting set of 14 brand NEW Uni-Forms designs that are set to release through the end of this month. Without giving away too much of the mystery, you won't have to wait much longer for the two specific designs mentioned in this thread. 😄

  5. Hey guys! Thanks for your patience. Our designer has been sick, so we haven't been able to drop as many new styles as we wanted. HOWEVER we are still planning on releasing some new ones well before the NFL season starts. Stick with us! As for the Out of Stock issues that pop up from time to time. We are waiting on a shipment of figures from China that should arrive in the next week or so, when those come in the Uni-Forms will be all back in stock with more styles on the way.  Thanks for hanging with us!

  6. Wow! Excellent job on the Uni-Forms Figures. These look GREAT! Especially for your first few attempts. They will only look better from here. Thanks for sharing. I love to see the improvements people have made as they continue applying the Uni-Forms. As someone who has applied Uni-Forms to over 1000 figures already I can say that when done correctly, they look better than a paint job, it looks like you are well on your way! One tip, I see some loose films underneath some of the figure's armpits. Run a toothpick through there to make sure everything is adhered.

  7. Hey guys! We are planning on constantly releasing new Uni-Forms styles including College Teams! Our Uni-Forms designer hasn't been able to fully focus on cranking out new styles, but more are on the way! In fact, the Washington Commanders Primary Home and Away teams are available NOW on the website!

  8. Hey Daryl,

Please let us know if you received a Uni-Forms set that you can't complete because of bad cuts. We had an issue with a chipped blade on our cutting machine that has since been resolved, so if you or anyone you know got some bad Uni-Forms sheets please send us a message if you want some replacement sheets! Glad you hear you are enjoying the process, I myself am addicted!

  9. Hey Daryl! I wouldn't be afraid to bend the backing sheet to make those tiny number squares easer to pick up. If you end up with a sheet that isn't cut all the way through please let me know as that was an issue that has since been resolved. If that's the case I'll be happy to send you a replacement sheet.

Here is my attempt using the Tudor uni-forms stickers.  I did 2 players and I had trouble wrapping the decals around of the torso of the players.  On the Cooper Kupp figure on the right, the decals curled up on the pant legs when I was trying to fix it.  Furthermore, it's had a hard time getting the decals off the sheet.  My hands are big, I had to use the toothpick in prying off the decal.  I did better on the second figure, my Aaron Donald on the left.  I still problems wrapping the pant leg decals on the legs.

Overall, I don't like using the uni-forms, but I understand it's more cost effective for Tudor.  Plus, you can mix and match different variations of uniforms.   I hope Tudor will sell the stickers only in the future.  I have lots of blank players and 67 men players I can decal 12 teams.

    Hey LARamsfan,

Great feedback and thanks for sharing! I'd agree that wrapping the torso and legs is probably the most difficult part, but I can really see the improvement already from the Kupp figure to the Donald figure. It took me a full 11 figure team before I felt really confident about putting together a team where the decals sheets went on smoothly. Good to know about the difficulty getting the sheets off the backing, we may want to adjust our cutting machine to do a deeper cut. I would also suggest picking up a set of tweezers to help get the decal sheets off the backing, we will put our preferred pair in the "Tools" section of the website in the next week or so. If you ever have issues with the decals curling up or not sticking correctly, just hit them with some heat from a blow drier or heat gun and they will adhere to the plastic figure better.

Great idea about selling the sticker sheets separately. These decals would only work on the 9- figures or the Hati-Repro HT-11 figures, but I think selling packs of sheets makes a lot of sense. I'll be sure to bring it up at our next meeting.

I’m not a fan of the uni-forms idea.  Just continue providing detailed painted teams. I am an electric footballer from the early 1970’s.  Just can’t wrap my mind around DIY uniforms.  The statement, “The more you do it the better you become”, tells me that there are several people out there that have had a bad time of it.  Stop trying to go the “cheap route.  Just continue to provide quality merchandise.

    Ed Redeaux,

We appreciate your longstanding support of Electric Football, but the idea that we don't strive to provide our customers with quality products is simply not true and a bit hurtful to the people that care about Electric Football the most and are frankly doing everything they can during an unprecedented supply chain issue to keep this hobby alive and evolving.  We never strive to "go the cheap route", we are doing what we can to make sure Electric Football doesn't disappear forever into garage sales and eBay listings. I hope you can appreciate that and give the Uni-Forms an honest shot, start painting figures yourself (we will continue to provide all the needed materials to paint custom figures), or connect with fellow coaches and trade painted teams.

Is there any plan to fit the unis for the “Mean 13”, and other figures outside of the Tudor “Fab 5” ?

    Jcolema,

Yes! We do have plans to release Mean 13 versions of the Uni-Forms in the future. We are going to start building up a sizable list of throwback, alternate, and color rush uniforms, then we will start working on the patterns for the Mean 13 Uni-Form sheets.

I actually prefer the painted figures and the team customized number stickers.  These make it easier for me to add names to the back of the figures. Disappointed the teams that I need are not available painted. I will not be buying anymore of the new sticker uniforms. As much time as it takes to put the sticker uniforms on, I might as well paint them myself. I already make college teams by painting my own.

    mikestalls3000,

We actually have some exciting news regarding name plates on the backs of figures that we will be announcing soon, stay tuned as this could make future projects easier for you. As for painted figures, while they are obviously more convenient, Uni-Forms provide a much more detailed and impressive end result and we simply can't get pre-painted figures from China during a global pandemic without going out of business. It's not a matter of being cheap, it's a matter of keeping our business and the hobby we love healthy and growing. That being said, we don't have any plans to abandon our painters and will continue to provide quality NFL licensed decals, paints, and brushes to those that prefer outfitting their players that way.

Here's a sneak peek at a throwback Uni-Form set I'm especially fond of. COMING SOON!

  12. Hey Coaches,

We have been blown away by the response to the Uni-Forms Kits that we just released a few weeks ago. It seems the more people apply them the more they are realizing that these kits are an easy and excellent alternative to those who don't want to paint their own miniatures. We are now starting to gather ideas for which Uni-Forms designs Electric Football fans want most, so lets hear it! Which NFL uniforms from the past do you want to see most in miniature form. We'll be looking at this thread when it's time to start designing new Uni-Forms kits, so make your voice heard!

  13.      This is an awesome idea coach! I'd love to put something like this into production. If you have some free time, keep developing this idea, I'd love to see a more fleshed out proposal. I could definitely see this bringing in a younger crowd to the game.

We're always looking for passionate Electric Football fans to partner with us to evolve the hobby, for examplehttps://tudorgames.com/passing-sticks-set.html

  14. I love this idea! I'll get the ball rolling and see if we can figure something out. I'm thinking we could release a special field cover with Canadian Football lines so that any Tudor board can be converted into a CFL compatible board. Let me know what you think!
