UGA @ FSU

Recommended Posts

To open week 2 we will be covering the Florida St Seminoles hosting the Georgia Bulldogs. Florida St comes into this game with the number 1 defense after week 1 only allowing 14 points to an explosive Gator offense. Their offense is going to need to step up though as 17 points won’t be enough against the RB that is Kennedy Shook. Last week Shook carried the ball 15 times for 115 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. Georgia is the favorite by 4.5, the O/U is 37.5.

PLAYERS TO LOOK OUT FOR:

UGA - RB KENNEDY SHOOK - CURRENT STATS(15 car, 115 yds, 3 TD, 1 cat, 13 yds)

FSU - EDGE DARIUS ROBINSON - CURRENT STATS(1 tack, 1 tfl, 2 sack)

Will Florida State defend their home turf?

Georgia opens the game with a long 8 play drive capping it off with a 10 yard TD pass from Stephen Hoyt to Cameron King. Hoyt completed the pass in a tight window to the back of the end zone showing why he is the most accurate QB in the country.IMG_9807.thumb.jpeg.e5aa8a8f2fe03420a05d7ad2faf0d4f4.jpeg

Florida St managed to hold Georgia to multiple 3rd downs but were unable to keep them from moving the chains.

I suspect Coach Jayethekxng might be the most accurate QB in the country because Jayethkxng is the person pulling back, aiming the arm of the triple threat QB, and letting rip.

Kudos to you. 😃👍  That is a very tight window and you hit your receiver.

Enjoy the Journey    T43.   🏈♾️

Florida State QB Brian Gardner scrambles around and scampers for a 63 yard TD to tie the game. On the following possession Georgia marches back down to the red zone and Kennedy Shook takes in his 4th TD of the season from 10 yards out.

Florida State immediately responds as freshman RB Leon Jefferson zooms past the entire bulldog defense for a 75 yard TD run. to tie the game going into half 14-14.

HALFTIME ANALYSIS:

UGA: They’ve managed to put some good drives together heavily relying on the arm of Hoyt, they’ll need to get Shook going a little more to seal the game on these long drives.

FSU: Defense has been just on the verge of getting multiple stops but have been unable to capitalize on 3rd and long. The receivers need to figure out. away to start getting some separation as they have been struggling to even get a catch on the board, CB Justin Levins for the Georgia Bulldogs said “We have everything out here in a box, we are on another level” let’s see if they continue this level of play defensively.

Coming out of halftime Florida St gets the ball and was unable to put a drive together. Following the punt, Georgia drive back into the red zone and get stopped inside the 5 forced to kick a fg. On the next possession Brian Gardner throws an INT to Safety Brandon Tisdale giving the Bulldogs the ball back with good field position. They make it back into the red zone and this time a pass to WR Rodney McDonald is completed for a TD making the score 24-14. Backup QB Luis Mitchell comes in for FSU and runs in a 40 yard TD but it was too late as UGA takes it on the road 24-21IMG_9850.thumb.jpeg.dc89eb511ec057b5f7b83697dcf18ef9.jpeg
