  1. Well coach Daryl whatever it was I hope things turn out well. I remember your excitement and enthusiasm about going. And even competing. This hobby needs more people like you and the forum wouldn’t be as fun without you so again hope all is well.

  2. Whoa good memory coach Daryl. That’s impressive! It would be easy to assume that the Chiefs won that day based on the 7 sacks. I’ve watched this highlight on NFL Films a thousand times and I don’t think they mentioned the Seahawks winning, definitely got overshadowed by Derrick Thomas crazy day! The 1983 Seahawks in the dark jerseys is definitely on my custom painted team list. I was a HUGE Kenny Easley fan as a kid.

  3. Another historic game to recapture would be the day back in 1990 when Derrick Thomas sacked Dave Krieg a record 7 times in one game! Some really cool uniforms involved in that game, too. Especially Seahawks in the white jersey.

  4. Coach Daryl, you’re capturing a top 25 moment in NFL history. I might have to get a couple of teams that signify great moments in NFL history. As long as you have Bradshaw, Horace Jones and Tony Cline from the Raiders closing in, of course Franco and John Fuqua. Jack Tatum (Tatum wearing 31, not 32) and number 20 Jimmy Warren of the Raiders sliding off of Franco as if his jersey was all greasy, then you’ll be just fine!

  5. If you have time and patience, and budget too lol, I would suggest the custom painted teams. They’re pretty cool. Maybe purchase one division (4 teams a pop) until you get all 32. The quality of the custom painted teams will be worth your time, effort, patience and most importantly your money.

  6. That’s a good one coach! What that game symbolized and the powerful impact it had that spread beyond the field and the locals is something special. I think this topic first has to be about the greatness of the game or moment but also the uniforms and players involved. “The Catch” is number one for me. But a good honorable mention would be “The Comeback”. 1993, Oilers at the Bills. The greatest postseason comeback ever! Some cool uniforms involved as well. “The Tuck Rule” isn’t too shabby as well.

  7. Much respect nefgm.org and very well said. Thank you for seeing the topic from all angles and viewpoints. Especially the point about collectors like myself. A collector can be very particular and detail oriented. The figures with the painted platforms and skin tones are a very smooth, polished and detailed version of the plain white figures, a significant upgrade for sure. For the record I did get my issue resolved. Thank you to a particular person. They know who they are.

  8. Thank you for your insight and perspective on this matter nefgm.org. I definitely appreciate and hear you. However, I think that the all white figures should be pictured, part of the description or offered as an option. They weren’t out of stock when I placed my first order but I do see that they’re out of stock at the moment. Personally I prefer the painted platforms and skin tones, especially for the amount of money that I’m spending.

  9. Coach Daryl I appreciate your support more than you know. I’m happy that you received timely and good service. You’re right, there’s no mistaking the beenutt figures. The only difference is the cleats. Beenutt figures come with black or white cleats. In my case, once painted you can only tell the difference because of the platform. The $10 pre-painted teams have a “factory painted” green platform that’s really smooth and nice. The plain white figures have a very obvious painted platform. Even if the bottom was painted, which mine wasn’t, you could still tell the difference in the figures.

  10. Happy New Year and Happy wishes to all of you and whatever you have going on with this fine hobby. I have an issue with my previous order from Tudor. I spent almost $350 on it and have already placed future orders. The issue with my first order is that I ordered 6 custom painted teams. They came out nice. I went with the option of getting the fab five figures. The website shows that you’ll receive the figures that have the painted platforms and painted skin tones. However, I received teams that were painted with the plain all white figures, the ones for $8. The figures with skin tones go for $10. This doesn’t set well with me. The platforms on the top are painted green and the bottom is white. As a collector of these figures for over 40 years I definitely know the difference between all of the figures. Tudor Games has been completely unresponsive to my inquiry up to this point. Anyone else experiencing something similar?
