Hi fellow Coaches and Forumites, Other than the obvious fact that one has his left hand up and the other has his right hand up, what are the main differences in the Runner and Sprinter figures? Are they more or less interchangeable, and if not which position(s) do you typically use each figure for? Thanks, -PK

Here's some crazy creation teams that I've put together over the years - Photo 1: The Darkstar Dragons: From an old Sega Football Game, these guys are green and have tails! Photo 2: The Bogalusa Bygones: Old figures and Fab 5's make this a team straight from a bygone era of football! Photo 3: The Federation RedShirts: From the final frontier, these guys come ready to play! Photo 4: The Regula Robots: From a distant planet, these 'bots come ready to conquer humanity on the gridiron! Photo 5: The Zom-Squad: I built this team from a leftover bunch of 40K skeletons and some of my leftover broken Fab 5 guys. Re-purposing at its best.

Irish Electric Football League This solitaire tournament is based on the real life Irish American Football League. The IEFL will consist of two four-team divisions. The North includes the Carrickfergus Knights, the Craigavon Cowboys, the Dublin Rebels, and the Belfast Trojans. The South includes the North Kildare Reapers, the Limerick Vikings, the Cork Admirals, and the South Dublin Panthers. Because the IAFL is not known as one of the stronger leagues in Europe, all players will be using un-tweaked, un-weighted regular rookie bases. Each team's offense will be based on what the actual team runs, or ran, in the case of defunct teams. I will post the league rules later (same set as my Portuguese league, the LPFE), but they are designed for quick games. Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Elétrico No, I don't speak Portuguese, and this league isn't in Portugal. In my quest for year-round American football (I'm a soccer coach - go figure), I stumbled onto American Football International a few years ago. It is a website full of news and highlights of American football being played around the world. When the pre-painted teams from Tudor went on sale, I ordered a bunch to paint some of the European leagues. I will be playing tournaments to determine the champion of each league. One of the first leagues to start play in the calendar year is the LPFA, or Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Americano. The LPFE will consist of two four-team divisions. The North includes the Braga Warriors, the Maia Renegades, the Paredes Lumberjacks and the Porto Mutts. The South includes the Algarve Sharks, the Cascais Crusaders, the Lisboa Devils and the Lisboa Navigators. Because Portugal is not known as one of the stronger leagues in Europe, all players will be using un-tweaked, un-weighted regular rookie bases. Each team's offense will be based on what the actual team runs, or ran, in the case of defunct teams. I will post the league rules later, but they are designed for quick games.

Here's my GA Bulldogs' 1980 National Champion team I painted back in the fall. Horse-collars and white shoes as far as the eye can see. 😄 I really like the new "Mean 13" figures. They paint well and as you can see fit perfectly with the classic Fab 5 models.

Hey, you see those London Union Jacks on sale? I picked some up, and gave them some numbers, a kicker, and added a few ProLine players to fill out the roster. Check it!
