The NFL has gotten to the point where they're changing uniforms as much as the NCAA. I prefer a classic look.

I think the part I like most about doing a historical team like this is doing the research. Finding information from 57 years can be tough. I watched YouTube videos, read a book about the '63 team, and trolled thru the internet.

To answer your questions: 1 - Yes, use the blue stick if the distance (helmet to helmet) between the QB and receiver is greater than the red & white stick. 2 - No, you can place the ball wherever you'd like and angle the receiver in that direction. Typically you do this to move the receiver towards open field. Some may do it differently.

I just finished my 1963 Chicago Bears team. This was the next chapter in my series of Bears teams. I've previously posted pics of the 1985 Super Bowl XX team and the 2006 Super Bowl XLI team.

Until now bases have always been soft, malleable plastic. They can be tweaked, but because of they won't always stay tweaked, or at least not they way you want it. How about experimenting with other materials? There has been experimentation with board surfaces. What about a hard plastic base similar to what the figures are made out of? Aluminum, high gauge sheet metal? Better yet, how about a radio frequency controlled based that you can maneuver on the fly? Just some random thoughts.
