If I tried to squat like that, I don't think I'd ever get back up...

Paint job is stellar! Concept is an A+. And did I detect an alternate uniform?!? That whole outfit was just inspired.
Great work!Journey On!
Thank you for the compliment. The six figures you see at the top of the 2nd picture are the prototypes that I made before painting a whole team. I did a lot of painting and repainting before deciding which uniform combinations to go with. Someday maybe I'll do another version, probably brown jerseys and beige pants. For now, it's on to other things...

I pick up the number with an x-acto knife and then slide it on the figure with a toothpick. It's very easy to do with virtually no mistakes, especially with the Beenut pre-cut decals.

1983 Chicago Blitz. I have names and numbers on them now. These are old pictures.

I paint my own. In combination with decals, it's the only way to get what I want.

I paint me own teams when I have the time to do it. The stripes or more specifically, clean lines are the most difficult.

I haven't tried the Uni-Forms. Looks like a great concept though. Although I don't paint often, I like to do my own custom teams with paint and decals.

I bought the decals from Beenutt

I use toothpicks exclusively Great for detail, spreading paint, and manipulating decals. For finer details, take a pen knife and shave the point of the toothpick.

Are you asking how much it would cost to buy the figures, labels, and paint and do them yourself? Maybe around $100 and many hours of your time.

What an awesome creation!

Before you do that, I would try the simplest route. a damp cloth or Kleenex will remove dirt and grime. Rub gently and be careful not to rub off the paint. If that doesn't help, then move on to chemical cleaners. a little Goo Gone will take of sticky number residue.

It does look a little bright, but the paint job is very clean. Well done.
You could always try mixing it with a couple drops of black. Not ideal, but sometimes it's tough to find the shade you're looking for.

Freeney and Johnson are from the AFC 2000's All-Decade team. Peppers and Hester are from the NFC 2000's All-Decade team. Mongo is from the 1985 Bears team. Willis is on the NFC 2010's All-Decade team but I haven't gotten around to that project...yet.
