    Field cover ?

Born and raised a packer fan and l’m 62 now. Was in the army in the late 70’s in Texas and became a Dallas and Houston fan but that ended when the oilers moved and Landry was no longer the coach of Dallas. So now it’s greenbay only. But good luck with your board.the team logos do look great no matter what your team is.
  2. 15 plays a quarter not counting kicking plays or x-tra points.
  3. Welcome back. What are the teams in your league.

    Tudor 9092

If your talking players bouncing, that can be reduced by adding weight to the bases. Hot spots is a different issue.
  5. Wanted to make the 65 bears and browns teams but couldn’t remember what their light uniforms looked so did a web search and found a gridiron uniform page that has all the team uniforms in their history. Thought I would mention it on this forum.
  6. That explains why Starr only coached with him the one year. And the team went down hill after that.
  7. Great article on 72 team on packers.com. If Devine would have left Starr to call the plays in the championship game instead of doing it himself they probably would have made the Super Bowl.
  8. The 72 packers led by the running of John Brockington and receiving of Leland Glass and MacArthur lane beat the 65 packers 17-14 on Chester Marcol’s game winning field goal. Shows you how good they could be without “Devine” intervention. Next up the 72 pack vs the 83 pack and Lynn Dickey.
  9. Was watching some games on YouTube and noticed at the start of each play the offense lined up with the center in the middle of the field and not on the hash marks. Do most coaches do this or do they line up on the hash mark. For me if the ball carrier runs out of bounds at the 30 yard line on the right side of the field I set the next play on the right hash mark at the 30. I feel that this is more realistic and affect both the offense and how the defense lines up. Looking for other coaches inputs on why they do it the way they do.
  10. As a member of the “general public “all I knew about electric football was my experience as a kid with the game I got for Christmas. The board was small and the players went any witch way with no control. One day I was on YouTube and discovered all kinds of videos on playing the game tweeting the bases for better movement and making the players more realistic. I got on Tudor games website and saw bigger boards ,more realistic players and teams and all these great things to make my game more exciting. I was never a big fan of video games as I did not grow up with them and the cost of having to buy a better computer or new game console just to run the newest version of a game made no sense to me. With my electric football game I can buy new teams or change the numbers of my players as the nfl players change teams for a small investment.I’m also glad for people like Cris to start a museum to educate people on the advancement in the game and it’s history and Kit and his toe pro football showing us how to play the game better. I’ve explored other web sites on electric football and realized Tudor products are more than reasonable compared to similar products. I challenge you to find a cheaper 2x4 board of the same quality so I say thank you Tudor games for helping a once lame game great.
  11. EFH maybe it’s time you tried a different hobby and leave electric football for those of us who enjoy it.
  12. Can you post some video showing how it runs
  13. I’ve got mine at opposite corners of the end zones and as close to the corners as they will stretch and a little foam under each leg and it runs good. I tried other positions and this worked the best.my suggestion is to give this a try and if you are not happy with it then try experimenting.
  14. That’s fantastic! How long did it take him and how many legos.
  15. My ultimate packer board and with toe pro cover over it held down with a few magnets. 63467971719__9096B3A1-FFF8-49D5-B802-9D598F7A9BB5.MOV 63467987028__F252BB5D-AFED-47A1-8C5C-182C04829299.MOV
  16. Got my toe pro field cover for my ultimate board. Trimmed it to fit and put it on with magnets on the sides to hold it down. Ran it and my players ran great. Still working on magnet placement but now I can use it with the toe pro or packer cover. Will send a video if anyone is interested.
  17. I read that the raiders of the 70’s and Bill Walsh’s 49ers offenses were built off the packers sweep. Now I know why they were some of my favorite teams. The game has changed for more scoring and better tv ratings. Kids ( meaning anyone under 40) nowadays are only interested in their fantasy team numbers. You can’t win in the NFL today unless you have a QB who can pass for 4000 yards and a team that can score over 35 points a game. The great teams of the 60’s and 70’s all were noted for their great defense. The 85 bears are still remembered for their defense. It is interesting that the two teams playing in the Super Bowl have two of the oldest coaches in the league.
  18. Website is footballxos.com
  19. Did a search and came across a site that you can download NFL offense playbooks ( nflplaybookxso). From Lombardi’s packers to 2016 cards. Not all team but enough to get a look at different offenses. It has helped me with my Packers league 60’s through present team. Also my 70’s league. Thought I would throw this out if anyone is interested.
  20. I had my 2 motor set up on opposite sides at the 20 diagonally and the performance was ok . Switched to opposite corners of end zone and it runs great. I put a little foam under each leg and it is quieter, runs smother and is fast.
