  9. Hi Jim - All 11 of the Varsity Number colors (except Black and White) are from the Brooklyn era of Electric Football. You can see this by looking at the address on the labels. We have a large supply of those and they seem to stick pretty well - we have not had many complaints. As far as the White and Black, since they are included in every game we sell, we ran out of those years ago and have since made our own -- this is why the numbers go up to 96 on White and Black. In the old days, the numbers they used didn't go up that high. Of course you can always cut them in to and make you own 99, etc. thanks, Doug
  10. Love it, Jim! thanks for chiming in. Look into creating your own League on this site - it has some tools and info that may be valuable to you in keeping stats, etc. Open to any requests! - Doug
  11. Hi Chris - Yes, we are interested in adding a College License. I don't have a time frame at the moment, but we will add College Teams when we can. thanks, Doug
  12. The center field logo is problematic because it can potentially change the speed and direction of the players if it's thick. That's why full-size field covers are best.
  13. Yes, you should be able to fix this pretty easily. The best way is to take a hairdryer and heat up the metal board and then press down on it and it will usually seal back to the black frame. If it does not hold, do the same thing but before heating, add a small line of superglue between the frame and the metal.
  14. Glad to have you here! We will start promoting the site soon which will increase traffic.

  16. We call this cord cutting. If your old board could use some help, or has stopped working, try adding a Field Drive Motion Generator and PlayAction Remote Control to the old board. Just peel off the adhesive backing and stick the motor in the opposite end zone from the old plug-in motor. Add two batteries, plug the Remote into the Motor and let 'er rip. You can remove the motor and reposition it until you get the performance you're looking for. Then get out some side cutters and cut that cord! If you like the plug in variety, buy our Ultimate Game's accessories and do the same thing.
  17. We get lots of questions about running multiple motors on one board. The answer to this is yes, you can. Do you need to do it? That's a different question. If your board is running well, there's no reason to add another motor. The picture below shows how you can add a second motor to an Ultimate plug-in game setup. The parts you'll need are listed on our Ultimate Game page here. As far as where to place the motors, I will let the practical experience of our community take over.
  18. The goal is creating an optimal waveform that is consistent across the entire surface of the field. In other words, no dead spots where players stop or slow down and no hot spots where players fall over. We all want a board that performs consistently and if the board runs consistently fast - all the better! We created the Remote and Motor for our games with a high quality momentary switch and speed control. The speed control isn't so much about changing speeds in the middle of a play, it's more about tuning to find the sweet spot where you get consistent performance -- and then leaving it there. Also we allow you to peel and stick the motor wherever it gives you the the best performance. In summary, getting consistent performance is a combination of motor placement and vibration speed setting. Note also that when you turn the speed up, the motor does more RPMs, but that does not always equate to speed of the players. So find the sweet spot between placement and motor speed and you'll enjoy great performance,
  19. Figure Painting and Detailing can be a very enjoyable and rewarding hobby. Share your techniques with others who are looking to recreate their favorite teams, players, and uniforms from football past and present. Discuss the best ways to paint, decal, shade, and add details such as face masks and chin straps to your figures.
